Before you go…
Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. All your travel stories, communities, connections, and preferences will be removed. If you're having a problem with the app, we'd love the chance to help first — reach us anytime at treepnout@gmail.com.

How to delete your account
Follow these steps inside the Treep 'n' Out app
Open the App
Launch the Treep 'n' Out app on your device and make sure you're logged in to the account you wish to delete.
Go to Settings
Tap your profile icon in the top corner, then select "Settings" from the menu.
Find "Delete Account"
Scroll down to the "Account" section and tap "Delete Account". You'll be asked to confirm your identity.
Confirm Deletion
Enter your password when prompted and tap "Confirm Delete". Your deletion request will be submitted immediately.
Check Your Email
You'll receive a confirmation email within 24 hours. Your account and data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
Can't access the app? No problem — use the deletion request form below and our team will process your request manually within 5 business days.
What happens to your data?

- ✕Account profile (name, username, profile photo, bio)
- ✕Email address and contact information
- ✕Travel posts, stories, photos, and videos you shared
- ✕Comments, likes, and reactions
- ✕Community memberships and connections
- ✕Saved places, wish lists, and travel preferences
- ✕Notification preferences and device tokens
- ✕In-app messages and conversations
Data we may retain (and why)
Required by financial regulations and tax law.
To protect the safety of our community and prevent abuse or fraudulent activity.
Data subject to active legal proceedings, government requests, or dispute resolution.
Fully anonymised — cannot be linked back to you in any form. Used only for product improvement.
All retained data is stored securely and used solely for the purposes stated above, in compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and applicable data protection regulations.
Submit a deletion request
Fill out the form below if you cannot access the app, or prefer to submit a formal written request. All fields marked * are required.
What to expect next
Confirmation email
Within 24 hours of submitting your request, you'll receive an email confirming it has been received.
Processing period
Your account is deactivated immediately. All personal data is permanently removed within 30 days.
Final deletion notice
Once deletion is complete, you'll receive a final email confirming your data has been removed.
